Chapter 142
Jamie went back to the private room thanking Hoonsol for lodging him. The food is delicious and Jamie's nausea disappears after his stomach gets full. The girl looks like she was just having a peaceful sleep and Jamie is providing her with a free room. He sighed, Hoonsol still has night duty and let Jamie watch the patient until she recouped consciousness. And speaking of, her fingers move and after a long moment, she finally opens her eyes.
"Hello." Jamie greeted the girl who looked around her surroundings. Her eyes are still cloudy, he knew she was still dizzy.
"W-What..." The girl's hoarse voice murmurs. She sneered and touched her head, soft hisses escaping from her lips.
Jamie sighed, fatigue showing on his face but he still explained to the girl why she was in the hospital.
"Lemme call the doctor. I just waited for you to wake up before I'll go home." Jamie mumbles and is about to go out.
