"You stupid woman! What good is that worthless daughter who only knows how to cause trouble and spend money!? If you even lay a single hand on Alissia, I will divorce you here and now. She is the heir to my Greyworth family and not someone you can look down on!" Frederick roared. He was angry. His whole face was bright red with anger. He had never met such a stupid woman. If he had brought her here to see Alissia, it meant that he wanted her to treat Alissia with care but this woman.
"Hey…."
"Hey!"
"HEY!!!!!!!!!"
"Ahh! Yes, Alissia, what do you want?" Frederick was so lost in thought that Alissia's scream just now made him jump.
"Can I punch her now?" Alissia asked. Her eyes were devoid of any warmth. This woman had angered her to the point that she actually wanted to kill her. She had never been so angry. Alissia grew up without family in her past life, which was fine. This did not bother her. But for her, a mother was someone who should love the person they gave birth to. A mother should be someone loving and caring who will do what she can for their child. Teach them, love them, and punish them when needed. But this woman in front of her….. "Never mind, I do not need your permission."
"Huh?" Frederick was about to ask Alissia to calm down so she would kill the stupid woman, but it seemed it was already too late. Because of his absentmindedness, Alissia had already struck out.
*Boom!*
*Splat!*
It happened instantly. For the first time since coming to this world, Alissia's fists had finally made someone's body explode. The entire opposite side of the hall that Alissia was standing in was now dyed red. Alissia looked at the gory scene with cold eyes as she drew back her fist. "Find yourself a new wife. This one was nothing more than a monster in human skin. No mother should treat their child in such a way. And as for you. Just wait, your turn will be coming."
Frederick felt a cold chill run down his spine. He watched as Alissia went to turn around and walk away, but he quickly reached out to stop her. "Alissia, wait!"
"Let go!" Alissia said coldly as she turned back around. "Let me ask you. While I was being treated like a piece of trash. While I was being fed scraps from the kitchen and wearing ragged clothes. Where the hell were you? You want me to be your heir? Fuck that! I want nothing more than to kill you. But it seems I am not powerful enough yet. But let me warn you if you don't kill me right this instant. I will come back for your life. You have to understand one thing. If you give birth to a child, you take care of that child. They are not tools for you to use as you see fit."
"Wait, Alissia! I know I have done wrong. I know I should not have treated you in such a way. But at least let me make amends. I will do anything to make things up to you." Frederick did not want to lose this daughter of his. She was strong. And would become even stronger. Even the king has taken notice of her strength. She was someone worthy of becoming his heir, and he wanted nothing more than to appease her.
Alissia paused and wondered just what the old Alissia would want. She thought for a moment and looked at the old man in front of her. His eyes showed a hint of fear. Fear that he would lose her. "What should I say to a man who doesn't seem to get it? You spent thirteen of the eighteen years of my life treating me like a tool. Why should I listen to you now? But I will give you three jobs if you wish to make amends.
"First, create a memorial for the daughter who died in the abandoned building that you left to fend for herself for thirteen years.
"Second, help all the children in the slums. Build proper orphanages for them so that they can have a better life.
"Third…. Become a better person altogether. No more arrogance, no more caring about position. All that bullshit that doesn't matter. Work on growing stronger like you should be. Stagnating and turning into nothing but human trash is not the way you should live. Oh, and one more thing. Remember, you still have other kids. Be responsible for them and take care of them and teach them correctly."
Alissia left these words before turning back around and picking up Jill and Billy, who were both pale faced at what had just happened. Alissia looked at Jill and smiled at her. She then leaned in and kissed her forehead. "Sorry. Big Sister lost herself."
Jill looked at the beautiful face in front of her, who was smiling warmly, and slowly nodded her head. She understood people would get mad, but she was scared that if she did wrong that maybe her big sister would punch her too.
Seeing the bit of fear in her eyes, Alissia sighed as she pressed her forehead against Jills. "Big Sister will protect you both from everything. You do not need to worry about what you just saw. That was only because that woman was a villain. She was someone who treated your Big Sister badly."
"Jill…. Big Sister is right." Billy, for the first time, spoke up. He, for once, actually called Alissia big sister. "What she did was not something she would do to us. If anything, she understands us more than anyone else. So do not be afraid of her, okay?"
Jill looked at her Big Brother, who was actually speaking up for her Big Sister, and nodded. "Sorry…"
"Hehe… Jill is a good girl, no need to be sorry. It is only natural to be frightened after such a scene. I will not allow you to suffer no matter what." Alissia said as she gave both kids a kiss on the forehead. She really lost herself. She was trying her best to control herself, but that woman made it impossible.
After Alissia walked away, Frederick stood there in silence. He thought about what Alissia had said and realized he had truly been a person who deserved to be beaten and killed. He turned to the pale faced servants and yelled out: "Someone, get a carriage ready! Your young miss needs a ride back to her estate! The rest of you clean up this mess! I need to head to the castle. I got to bring back that idiot."
