"Oh sorry." Elizabeth apologised as she saw both of them in the room. "I will come back later."
Adam immediately stood up, "No it's okay. We are done." He sent a short glance to Alexander.
Alexander stood up and nodded to Elizabeth before he went out of the room.
"Come, let's go." Adam held her hand when she was busy looking at Alexander who was leaving with a frown on his face. Although there was a smile on his face, it faded right away when he passed her.
"No, he has nothing against you." Adam could read her mind then pinched her cheek.
Elizabeth realised she was caught and smiled, "I thought he didn't like me, you know…because I cause a lot of things." She told him what was on her mind.
"Why would that be your fault?" Bending his body and sliding his palms from the tops of her head to her cheeks. "You should stop thinking that everyone hates you. You know despite your stony personality, you are kind of cute." He chuckled, saying his joke.
