Alexander decided to just go straight home instead of going to Layla to take back his phone. Adam's words were more epic, he just asked him to report the loss of his phone to the police and he said it while smirking. At the end, he called Liam for help, asking him to help him by taking back the phone.
He opened the door slowly expecting Camellia to be there but to his surprise, the room was quiet and she was nowhere in the room. He opened one by one door in the room and even checked the bathroom but he confirmed she was not there. Going straight out, he yelled from above calling for the maid, too lazy to rush down the long stair. Don't ever ask why their three floor mansion didn't have an elevator, he and Adam did suggest about it when they were kids but his dad just said, "Just think of them as an exercise."
