Alexander finally managed to close his eyes after a long night. He glanced at his Camellia who was in deep sleep. She was having a hard time when Hanna had been cranky all night. Feeling bad for his wife, he took their baby in his care and asked her to go to sleep.
Hanna was now sleeping in her baby coat on his side of the bed. He looked up at the clock on the wall and saw the time was now two thirty minutes in the morning. He should sleep now.
The sound of the baby crying instantly made his eyes widened. Quickly reaching to pick her up, he managed to glance at the clock one again. Three fifteen in the morning, at least he managed to keep his eyes shut for forty five minutes.
"Shhh…" Alexander tried his best to cradle Hanna using his arms. "What's wrong baby? Your tummy hurts?" He talked to her gently and made sure to glance at Camellia in case she woke up because of the crying voice.
