"To think I'd see the day, Hello my dear" the woman was stunning, and I wasn't talking about the way the light bounced off the cascade of diamonds draped on her from head to toe as her jewelry reflected sunlight in a way that made it look like you were standing under a disco ball, the shimmer was enough to send a man into epileptic shock.
"Hello Lady Wilbur" I pushed out of my seat and walked into the vampire's open arms letting her wrap them around me placing two soft kisses on my cheeks, she was cold, "You look more beautiful than I could've ever imagined, the pictures do you no justice"
I wasn't just saying it to be flattering, I meant it, for a woman pushing 300 she looked immaculate, not a strand of blonde hair out of place, her eyes a striking shade of blue, her cheeks rosy, a button nose and a smile more blinding that the checker piece sized diamond ring on her finger
