Felicia's POV
"Someone looks like she's had a good night's sleep" I woke up to the feeling of fur nuzzling against my face, my eyes flutter open, greeted by two glowing feline eyes.
Nerva was perched on the bed next to me lying flat on her stomach with her head resting lazily on her hands
"When did you get here?" I asked, my voice sounded terrible, like I had been gargling sandpaper.
"Oh, not long ago, I was tying up loose ends like you asked me to, I didn't expect to come back and find you sleeping like a bambino" Nerva's voice in my head was mocking, had I known sending her to Italy would give her such a snarky attitude I would've just had her wait for us right here in Connemara.
My body felt like lead, pushing the comforter off me was a Herculean tasks, I can't remember the last time I had been so comfortable, or had slept so soundly, I catch glimpses of the dream I had, a beautifully painful, distant dream.
