"Is everything alright?"
All eyes fell on me, I was standing in the center of our makeshift command center in tje Furukawa residence
For a split second I completely forgot about it, my mind and senses overtaken by panic, a deep rooted fear which forced me out of my seat, my hand gripping my chest as every muscle in my body wanted to turn around and run without direction
The fear was palpitable, I felt it like it were my own, but it wasn't, they were hers, she managed to push through my barriers and force her emotion into me, terrifying that child
The anxiety ebbed from a raging tempest to a dull ache, lulling till I couldn't feel it anymore, I still focused, still latched onto that tether, holding it losely so she wouldn't feel my presence in her mind, she reached for me but she did explicitly ask me for help, so I won't pry
