The fastest way to know would be to just ask her, the fact that she hadn't told Michiko meant she either wasn't going to, didn't feel the need to, or had something she wanted from me, neither option provided me comfort so that's why I was stalling the inevitable and choosing to indulge Michiko instead of going back to our room to face her, at least that is what I was doing before Michiko thought it was getting late and that we needed to get back to our dorms
