Michiko's POV
I am tired, so, so, tired, my vision was blurred and my legs shook something fierce, that bench had my name on it, I didn't care about the wry glances, the open sneers, I would have cowered, I should have hid, but right now, right now every bone in my body felt liquidated
I don't know what happened back there, the last thing I remembered was collapsing into the snow trying to gather all the pieces of my credentials so I don't get fined for littering, I packed those papers, filed them in order, kept them coordinated by year, and stacked them in columns complete with stamps and references, but it wasn't enough, I didn't get pass the check point, it must have been my fault, it must have been the font size, the font style, I probably did something wrong, and because of me Thea and Rina saw something ugly, all they've seen since coming to this village has been ugly and unsightly things that I wanted nothing more than to hide from them
