Their extinction. ... But, they are not wise as sages for nothing. Far from the north, a dragon baby and a dragon with a human soul awoke.

Chapter 1 - Finding home (1)

"So dark… So cold… mama."

Arman spoke with great difficulty.

"I'm blind...? Uh... don't tell me it's the fucking drug that the homeless old man sells me."

Arman still remembered that on a rainy day, he encountered an old man with tattered clothes and dirt on his face. However, Arman didn't have time to pay attention as he was rushing because he was late for work.

However, the homeless old man stopped him and sold him a drug, out of pity, and he was hurrying. He bought it without thinking.

Arman, of course, was not a drug addict. He intended to throw it away after that, but he forgot about it after a while because he was late for work and was about to lose his job.

"I helped a homeless old man. I love my mama... Oh God, this is how you repaid me. Do you know how kind I am?"

Crick!

"Mama, are you there?" Arman tried to reach something in the darkest world to ensure he wasn't blind. He didn't think he was blind because he was in good health. How could he have gone blind in just one day, with no warning?

Crick!

Instead of being soft and warm, it was now replaced by something slimy, squishy, and cold. Arman hurriedly raised his hand. He thought, 'What is that thing?'

'Wait... my back... I felt it all over my body. What in heaven is that?' Arman was suddenly alerted, but he confirmed one thing: he was not blind; it was just that he was trapped in an unknown dark place.

Arman let out a relieved sigh as he confirmed he was not blind.

"Woo! Hoo!" Inhaling and exhaling, his mama taught him to always remain calm regarding any situation he was in. As his mama said, "Panicking makes you soft, but calming makes you hard."

"Hello, is anyone there?"

Crick!

"I-I'm me... uh, Arman, if you don't know, but I guess you should know it because you kidnapped me, yep," But inside he was thinking about what to say next. "I'm just nobody, you know, living in a small apartment all alone, and I don't have money, a girlfriend or family, so I think you kidnapped the wrong guy and... I don't remember if I had any enemies... b-because my mama said I should avoid making enemies because there's no one to help me. I am alone and the police were not trustworthy… t-that is her last word, by the way."

Crick!

For some time, Arman's voice grew weaker and weaker as the image of his mama flashed in his mind.

When he was a child, Arman was born into a family filled with cruelty, his grandfather was mayor, but he was corrupt, lustful, and greedy, his father was an abuser and murderer, brother was a rapist but with all this crime they did they couldn't get in prison because his grandfather was backing them.

In this hell, only his mama was the angel.

"Forget it," Arman suddenly said. "I think it is good to die as soon as possible so I could reunite with my mama."

Crick!

Crick!

Ray of light came out from the hole.

The sound that Arman was heard before but decided to ignore was growing stronger and stronger.

Crick!

Crick!

In each, every sound, a ray of light came out.

"W-What is happening?" Arman was confused. He saw a hole, and in this hole was a light.

Arman raised his hand toward the hole. The hole was small enough for the light from outside to come in. He kept punching it until he could finally feel it outside. Followed by raising his head.

Arman slowly opened his eyes and then rubbed them. He opened it again and then rubbed it three times because he couldn't believe what he was saying.

The fantasy world was not completed without them.

"Dragons!" Arman exclaimed. "Furthermore, it's a baby dragon!"

The baby dragons were looking at him with admiration. Some dragons were eating a white thing with slimy stuff. He assumed it was the shell after hearing a crunch sound coming from their teeth.

The dragons have all different colors of skin; some are red, blue, gold, or black.

They were cute, like a puppy giving puppy eyes.

But the problem was

"I am a dragon too!" Arman exclaimed in surprise.

He was a dark violet-scaled dragon with black eyes. His size was about a meter long and 19 centimeters wide.

"Roaaaar!" Arman roared, but instead of fierce, it was soft and cute, like a kitten roaring.

"Roar!"

"Roar."

"Roar∼"

The baby dragons also followed as they roared one by one; some even dropped their shells just to roar.

Arman couldn't help but chuckle at their cuteness. It was like a kitten meowing together.

Looking softly at them, he thought that living as a dragon might not be bad; honestly, he had once dreamed about this, reincarnated in a fantasy world filled with adventure and meeting new friends, different from his previous life, which was filled with depression and loneliness.

"Alright, alright, stop, we might attract some danger to us."

Glancing at the sun, which was half-covered by leaves, Arman knew they were in the middle of the forest. Roaring might cause an unnecessary problem.

Growl∼

"Oh, I seem to need to eat."

Arman, seeing their blissful expression when eating, decides to try, gulping down the slimy stuff that drips from his fingers into his mouth, and then licking it.

Arman's eyes lit up. The taste was sucking his tongue; he felt like the food he had all eaten was trash, and... this slimy red stuff was like divined food cooked by the God of Cookery.

"This... is finger-licking good! Very delicious." This was divine and couldn't be described by words.

After that, he ate all of it under the gaze of baby dragons.

"Burp! That was divine!"

Soon, the sun grew hotter.

The leaves waved, and the birds sang.

The beast is growling.

"19, 20... I counted 10 red, 10 blue, 5 black, and 5 gold, including me. We have 21 dragons in total!"

Arman counted with his cute fingers as he spoke to the baby dragons who were lining up, but it seemed like Arman was talking to himself because the dragons were gazing at him in admiration and like his word, was just air to them.

"We don't know where our parents are, but we need to find a safe place first!" Arman yelled. He was like a commander, and the baby dragons were soldiers.

The dragon long considered Arman a leader, and Arman didn't mind because he was the only one who could speak and was smarter than them. They were his family, and he was the big brother, so he had the responsibility to teach and protect them until they grew up.

"Roar!" the baby dragon's roar in agreement, even though some of them don't even understand.

"Follow me, boys and girls! Line up and don't wander around. Tell me if you are hungry! Alright!" Arman yelled as he smiled.

"Roar!" the baby dragons respond with a roar.

The forest was big, like a never-ending place. The tree stood tall like a protective wall. Leaves and grass danced along with the wind, and the sun continued to pulse warm and light.

In this forest, a group of baby dragons faces a lone creature.

"Growl!"

It was a lone hell wolf.

"What do you want?" Arman asked, even though he didn't know for sure if the wolf could talk. However, this was a fantasy world. Everything could be possible. Right?

"Growl!" the wolf snarled, feeling the threatening presence of the dragons. Even so, the wolf didn't back down.

"You're not backing down and you're not attacking. So, what do we do... uh... wait...? In terms of status, I'm a dragon and you are a wolf. I'm superior and stronger than you, so..." Arman slowly turned his head toward the wolf. His expression was fierce, and he smirked.

The wolf, realizing the situation had suddenly turned dangerous, took a step back as he snarled again.

"Not retreating, huh?" Arman suddenly charged as his claw raised, when he suddenly appeared inches before the wolf. Realizing the strange situation, Arman widened his eyes but didn't stop.

Woosh!

The wolf crashed into the tree and let out a whine.

The wolf hurriedly stood forcefully as he fled, after giving Arman a glare.

"Hah, run dog!" Arman smiled, then gazed at his claws with a thoughtful expression. "Seems like I'm not ready to kill yet."

Arman shook his head, throwing that thought back in his mind as he looked at the baby dragons, who gazed at him with admiration. "See that, don't let bad guys bully you because this will make you weak before them, causing them to bully you more…! Alright, let's find a safe place first, and I will teach you after that."

Southern Forest, Fire Rider Goblin Tribe.

A large goblin the size of an adult human, his body was filled with muscles with a tattoo, wearing a wolf's teeth necklace, as he gazed softly at the wolf walking limping toward him. "Hugo, what happened to you? Who hurt you?!"

"Woo!" Hugo, the hell wolf, met his gaze as he let out a roar as if he was communicating with him.

Ocs' face grew darker and more dangerous. "North? Someone from the Lizardman tribe!?... to think that such a weak tribe would harm my pet! My precious pet!"
