When the night came, and darkness engulfed the forest, Drake walked out of the path, sat down on the ground and leaned on the tree. He decided not to sleep, as he was in dangerous territory and did not know what kind of night monsters were lurking there. So he spent the night listening to howls and howling noises coming from all directions.
As morning came, he took his storage bag, opened it, ate some jerky beef, and then went to the north on the sandy path. As he continued walking, suddenly, a sharp pain struck his leg, making him jump and stumble.
"Shit!" He cursed and quickly bent over to see something stuck in his leg. It was a wooden stick that had been cut and used as an arrow point.
He pulled it out of his leg and saw another arrow point striking his boot. He looked around and realized someone must have attacked him while he wasn't looking, but couldn't pinpoint who.
He got up, put his hand into his pocket and pulled out the handle of Heaven Slayer.
The next arrow hit his shoulder, causing a shiver and blood to run down his arm. He kept looking around but saw nothing. Drake yelled, "You want to play hide and seek?!" Suddenly, his arms burst into flames. "So be it!" The man shouted, and the air around him exploded in fire.
The fire started to spread to the woods, and Drake heard squealing noises. As soon as the fire reached the trees, they began to move. Drake smirked and started running toward the sound source, dodging and jumping over the fallen trees trying to get there before the creatures escaped.
Suddenly he saw a bunch of humanoid creatures with pig heads, wielding primitive bows and other primitive weapons. "Found you, little piggies!~"
Drake ran straight towards the closest pigman and turned his Heaven Slayer into a short sword to avoid hitting the trees during his attacks. The pigman saw his sword coming at them and screamed and pointed their bow at Drake's head.
"What the..?" Drake said as he jumped back, barely avoiding the arrow fired from the bow.
He could hear the Pigmen behind him screaming "Kreeeel!" as they fired arrows at him and tried to make him trip or fall from a distance.
But he wasn't so easily defeated. When he finally got close enough to reach them, he swung his blade and decapitated one pigman while hitting the shoulder of another at the same time. But before Drake could react, the pigman slashed at Drake's back, making the blood splash on its face.
"Tsk," Drake rolled his eyes as the wound burst into flames and started to close on itself. He didn't care if it hurt or would scar; he still wanted to kill these guys. With a grunt, he grabbed the pigman by the shoulders. As he turned to strike it again, he noticed that this one was wearing armor, with its hands bound with thick chains. The pigman felt relieved that the chainmail saved it from instant death but soon came to regret it.
"Teehee!~" Drake giggled like a little girl, and his hands burst into flames again. He started heating the metal on the pigman's body, making him squeal in agony. The burning metal burned off the cloth and directly touched the pigman's flesh, burning it and making its flesh swell and melt away. Then the creature let go of the chains, fell back and died, with a single regret, of attacking this person.
Now only three left. And Drake felt his patience running low. Suddenly he saw two of the remaining enemies moving slowly towards him, and he knew why. These two weren't alone. Someone else was standing on the other side of the forest, watching the fight. Drake grinned wickedly and moved closer to them. He raised his Heaven Slayer above his head and slashed it through the air. A massive blast of flames erupted, blowing the attackers back to where they came from and destroying everything in its path.
Drake gazed at his weapon and smirked. "Now that's what I could call an ultimate move!" he said as he held the hilt of the sword and stared at the burning corpses around him.
[Quest in the process: The hunt.
Progress: Twenty-five low-level monsters.]
"Eh?!" Drake exclaimed when he looked at the screen. He just killed twenty of those creatures in less than a minute? That means the attack hit even more creatures than the ones attacking him. "Fucking Hell..." he mumbled with a slight grin.
However, his mood instantly dropped when he realized he did not remember the way back to the main road. He has no idea where he is going now, and it will probably take hours to find that way. He sighs. 'Damn it all. I am screwed.'
"System, do you know where's the road?" he asked quietly to the air.
[Yes] the system responded.
Drake groaned. "Then tell me!" Drake demanded impatiently.
[Head east, turn right and continue walking until your destination.]
"That's great, thank you," Drake replied sarcastically, as he had no idea where east was. He sighed again. 'Okay, alright…'
Drake looked up at the sky; the sun was hidden behind the clouds. It seemed that the rain was coming.
"Well… Just my luck." he said, "let's try to get to this place as fast as possible."

Drake was walking through the forest, which was darkening by the hour. His mood kept getting worse, and suddenly, he shouted. "I AM WALKING IN CIRCLES!" he roared. "How hard can it be to locate the stupid road?! Why can't I find the damn thing!?" he asked angrily.
He stopped for a moment to rest, but he was already hungry, thirsty and tired. He looked for his storage bag to grab water and took a few sips. After he finished, he resumed walking. After several minutes of walking, he realized that it was getting darker. "Fuck it. This fucking sucks," he muttered under his breath.
And so, he was stuck inside the forest for three days without a way to go back. To keep himself warm, he often used his Dragon Lord transformation. This transformation makes his body burst into flames and burns the skin, showing the scales on his arms and legs. Luckily for him, his clothes were fireproof. However, his boots were not, so he had burnt them off on the first day of his transformation and now was walking barefoot.
During his transformation, monsters instinctively avoided him, so after the third day, he found himself in a cave and slept there. When he finally fell asleep, he opened his eyes to a Lux who was crashing onto him and hugging him.
"Master!~" she sang joyfully.
