Detective Gomez entered into the office of doctor Tom's who rose to his feet and they shook hands.
"So long detective, good to see you again" Doctor Tom pointed at the chair for him to sit and he did.
"I thought there were rumours that you were leaving stardom? " the detective began when Tom said on the desk.
"Change of plans, Man "
"Oh I see, I guess you know why I'm here?"
"Sure?" the doctor replied and took off his glasses.
"You know this case is quite mysterious" he told the detective who nodded.
"You're not the first to say it"
"From the tests I've carried out, the system of the victims seems to be converting the blood to a form of energy"
"Energy? How's that possible?" the detective drew closer.
"I don't know but I ran several tests on the victims as soon as they're giving blood, their cells become as active as one would expect but soon it begins to diminish"
