Akrem.
Mr. Tanaka was addressing me as 'Your Highness' which I hated. So, I said,
"Just Akrem, Mr. Tanaka. You don't have to address me like I'm a royal."
"But indeed you are a royal, your highness. So stop complaining. Even my lady who wasn't a royal I still address her as 'My Lady'. How come you're the one who has the real royal blood, I only address it as 'Akrem' the name? That is absurd, your highness …." Now I know that Arianell was in a good hand. Her looked like stepfather was so strict and I believed nothing harm would come to Arianell. If only Mr. Tanaka were also supernatural, it would be easier for us to keep an eye on Arianell.
Too bad he wasn't.
And I heard Wade giggling in the front seat next to Mr. Tanaka. He must think that everywhere I went people would think I was absurd. In other words, Mr. Tanaka would say: "You're a prince so suck it up to be called 'Your Highness'"
Back to the main reason, I had a question in the first place,
"So Arianell didn't have any visitor since yesterday, Mr. Tanaka?"
"No, your highness. My lady pretty much was sleeping all day maybe because of the long sixteen hours flight. Had dinner at 10 PM by herself and she only woke up this morning to tell me to pick you up at the south beach at 9 AM, So I tried to be on the beach at around 8 AM in case your flying ship was early." he explained everything so clear as expected from a loyal employee.
And as I thought the incubus hypnotized the whole mansion including Mr. Tanaka so there wouldn't be any trace back to him. There wasn't any other way but to see Arianell right away. Extracted the mist and asked her what she remembered about the incubus so I'd know how and when to find and then kill him.
That if I was lucky, I'd be able to mate with my Luna. I had missed her so much …
I finally arrived at the mansion. That beautiful residence was practically almost the same as the Green Valley's alpha's families' mansion. The only difference was that it had the vehicles' smooth roads because the beings living there were humans. They needed support for transportation.
Meanwhile what we had in the Green Valley's alpha's mansion was the result of the residents being supernatural beings that even their human forms could lift or pull a cart with a maximum of three tons of weights. We didn't need many vehicles, roads for carts and horses would be sufficient. We were also developing the flying carts at the moment, so we didn't need land transportation.
All in all, everything looked green because the mansion had lines of trees and green mazes. Framed with the pine forests as its background, I felt at home already. Smelling the scents of the pine trees made me want to run to the highest hill and howl to the moon.
But it wasn't the case now. The run could wait. What was more important was to reverse the ancient spell the incubus had in Arianell's body that had been controlling her since last night. One night was enough, I wouldn't let him touch her again. He must die after I made sure Arianell was okay. We could use her power as well to eliminate the incubus.
I believed her father's murderer was also the incubus as well. My lizard brain told me that. The Empath's juices were the best life sources for the Succubi, whether they were males or females. In Arianell's case, the succubus was a male. She was lucky enough that I had marked her so the incubus would need more time to put her under his ancient spell completely.
All I needed to do now was to reverse the spell using my left mark on her. The love of the werewolf mates conquered them all. All we needed to do was also waited for Arianell's wolf to finally appear. Then everything would be clear how we had a strong bond bound by the moon.
"We are finally here, your highness…" said Mr. Tanaka from the driver's seat. Wade right away opened my door and I stepped onto the front porch of the mansion a magnificent stair welcomed me to the main entrance.
"Let me take you to your room…" said Mr. Tanaka. But I refused because I had to see Arianell right away,
"It's better if you take me to Arianell's room, Mr. Tanaka. We have matters to discuss before Saturday's execution and I need to know the perimeter that I have to check. Checking the crime scene is important, don't you think, Mr. Tanaka?"
He nodded with courtesy and couldn't disobey my order," Certainly, your highness. Certainly! "
"Oh, can you let Wade prepare my room?" I asked him.
"Absolutely! Your Highness, it'd be a great help for us." Mr. Tanaka waved to one of the male staff and whispered some words then the male staff approached and helped Wade with our two suitcases.
"Wade, you can prepare and wait in my room…" I smiled at him.
"Certainly, sire…" but before Wade continued his sentence, Mr. Tanaka added some more info,
"Wade can stay in the room next to yours, your highness. We have plenty of main and guest rooms unoccupied."
"Mr. Tanaka, that's very generous of you…" I put my left hand on his right shoulder.
"A royal should be treated as one. Forgive me, but this is what we only have in this humble mansion…" he was being too humble.
I chuckled, "It's more than that, Mr. Tanaka. I feel at home already. The Green Valley's alpha's mansion is pretty much as green and as welcome as this mansion."
"Your highness, I can't thank you enough for your kind words about this mansion. I hope it'll meet your expectation." Was a line with some more wise and kind words from Mr. Tanaka.
"Shall we?" I squeezed his shoulder gently. I had been trying to be a decent prince but not too long or I would snap. Well, I tried not to, because my nature was being free. So this whole courtesy at playing prince and palaces weren't my cup of tea.
