On the way back to his room, Fang Tianliu restrained himself from looking inside the Zhang family's room and went straight to Doctor Sun.
"You're back so soon?"
Doctor Sun was sitting in the courtyard preparing medicinal herbs. When he saw Fang Tianliu return, he frowned. "You don't look too good. What happened while you traveled?"
Fang Tianliu was dejected. He walked to the courtyard's entrance and all the strength in his body suddenly dissipated. He slumped his shoulders and walked into the courtyard, then sat down dejectedly.
"Doctor Sun," Fang Tianliu held his head in his hands and spoke weakly, "What do you think all this is about? Is the world against me? Did I do something wrong to anger the gods?"
Doctor Sun casually threw him a handkerchief. "Wipe the scar on your face. It's an eyesore to me."
"Good to see you haven't changed." Fang Tianliu laughed bitterly, and obediently took the handkerchief to wipe his face.
