The man's low growl startled George Summer.
He clenched his fists tightly, took a deep breath, and then said softly, "Master Liam, before I speak, I hope you can stay calm. No matter what has happened, you must believe that Tara Summer loves you..."
"Hmm?" Liam Yancey coldly sneered. He straightened up, listening to George's rambling, which heightened the ominous feeling in his heart. Nevertheless, he remained composed, "...Go on!"
George leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, looking down at the ground, taking a long while before he finally detailed the events of several days ago.
Liam Yancey listened, shaken to the core. His body became as rigid as a statue. His fists were clenched so tight that his knuckles turned white, his handsome face ashen, his eyes bloodshot with a fearsome and foreboding look.
Especially upon hearing that Tara had left alone and could not be found, he couldn't contain himself any longer. He abruptly stood up, striding out the door.
