The two sat quietly for a moment, and Emily Stone finished her ice cream. She took out her phone to check the time—twenty minutes until the flight's departure, and boarding should have already started.
"I should go," she said as she stood up, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. Seeing Owl Eagle rise as well, she gestured for him to stop, "It's okay, don't bother seeing me off. Just head back!"
With that, she strode out of the restaurant.
Owl Eagle didn't insist, but he still followed her out of the restaurant. Emily Stone turned to wave at him, "By the way, if you don't mind telling me your phone number... Heh, don't get me wrong, I'm really not hitting on you. It's mainly because you're from the Yancey Family, and if something comes up next time, you might be able to help, right?"
Owl Eagle didn't say a word, but he handed over his phone.
