After waiting for a moment, Owl Eagle still hadn't gotten into the car, so Tara Summer put the child in the back seat and pushed open the door to get out herself.
"Owl Eagle, what's wrong?" She walked to the front of the car, her gaze shuttling between the two men.
Owl Eagle and Chester Hanson turned their heads toward her simultaneously, Chester Hanson's thin lips curling up in a wry, roguish smile before he took off his glasses.
"You've finally come out, Mrs. Yancey," Chester Hanson said, facing her, his pair of water-blue eyes deep, faintly flickering with fire as he stared intently at her.
Tara Summer frowned, feeling uncomfortable all over from his stare.
Moreover, despite Chester Hanson calling her Mrs. Yancey, his tone didn't carry respect, but rather a hint of teasing.
This made Tara Summer even more uncomfortable, so her face darkened and her tone became harsh, "Third Master Hanson, may I ask if it's your car that's broken down in the way? Do you need help!?"
