"Dad..." Tara Summer was momentarily emotional and actually called out "Dad" before blushing and looking down shyly.
"Hmm, actually, I like it when you call me dad," Blake Yancey sat down on the nearby sofa, his face warm, "You followed Liam in calling me father, doesn't it feel strained? Why not call me dad from now on?"
"Okay, dad," Tara Summer nodded with a smile, turned to Madam Yancey and called out, "Mom..."
"Hmm." The elderly couple of the Yancey family nodded simultaneously, their smiles so wide they couldn't close their mouths.
Tara Summer looked at the two elders, overcome with heartfelt emotion. In a moment of impulse, she went and hugged Madam Yancey's arm, much like she would often dote on Josie Reed, with her head gently leaning on her shoulder.
Madam Yancey patted her hand, gazing at Tara who hugged her with affection; her heart was filled with delight.
