The grown Dragon Beast King no longer stayed obediently in the calendar. Instead, it transformed into a regular teddy dog and followed Josie Reed all day. When the butler and Walter Schmidt saw it, they merely assumed she'd gotten a pet.
"Something like this happened?" Tara Summer was also amazed upon hearing this and a smile spread across her lips as she told her mother, "Mom, I'll come to see you when I get some time. Take care of yourself, and if there's anything wrong with the Dragon Beast King, let me know!"
"Don't worry," Josie Reed nodded, and after a few more exchanges, they said their goodbyes and ended the call.
Tara Summer sat on the couch, gazing at the carpet for half an hour until George Summer came with a bowl of lychee porridge.
After taking a few bites, she thanked him.
Until dusk, Tara seemed preoccupied. Walter's words kept echoing in her head and caused her to lose her sleep throughout the night.
