Tara Summer spoke earnestly, each word piercing Josie Reed's heart, causing it to ache. Her eyes gradually turned red.
"Mother..." Tara hugged her, soothingly patting her back.
Josie Reed stayed silent, her body tense. It was clear she was very nervous. After pondering for a long time, she finally spoke. "Alright, I could go back and check. However, you don't need to accompany me if you have things to do at the hospital."
"Mother!" Tara released her, frowning. "What could be more important than you? I'm going with you to New Zealand!"
Work was certainly important, but in no way could it compare to the importance of family!
"But, isn't your medical research preparing for its crucial stage? You have found the poison worm, how could you leave now?"
"Don't worry, the research partners I've chosen are all very professional. It's okay if I leave for a while."
