"Didn't he just get back?"
"Another call came in today. They wanted him to head over again. There must be no fewer than twenty calls this morning."
"..." Tara Summer nodded, thinking they both stayed in the room all morning and Liam Yancey probably didn't want to bother Fierce Eagle, but now the incessant hounding from New York has forced Liam Yancey to pick up the phone.
"You stay here. I'm going to find my mother," she pointed at Liam Yancey. "Tell him that later."
"Yes," Fierce Eagle nodded, watching her leave.
Tara Summer arrived at her mother's bedroom on the third floor; Josie Reed was sitting on the balcony drinking coffee.
She smiled slightly, tiptoed towards her, preparing to cover her eyes and surprise her.
When she was about to approach her, she suddenly heard Josie Reed sigh, and Tara Summer stopped in her tracks. Seeing the solitary expression on her mother's face, her heart dropped.
Did she overlook something? Mom... she didn't seem happy?
