It was as if she had lost her best friend...
The elevator doors slowly opened, and Chester Hanson stood outside. Seeing Tara Summer slumped on the ground, her face streaked with tears, he immediately went forward to help her up.
"How could you lose control of your emotions again!?" he roared in a low voice, his concern ringed with frustration, as he supported her back to the guest room.
In the room, he tossed her onto the bed. Tara Summer looked dazed, the tear marks on her face still wet, as she sat motionless on the edge of the bed.
"What do you plan to do about Emily Stone?" Chester Hanson walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, staring at the seascape outside, and took out a cigarette to light.
He took a deep drag, and amidst the swirling smoke, he turned around, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the woman on the bed, "…If you won't speak, then I'll just have someone take care of her directly!"
