Late in the night, Evans returned to the Mansion.
After landing on the balcony of his room, Evans made to scan the surroundings. Seeing that no one noticed him, Evans sighed in relief.
If anyone saw him, he would need to either reveal where he went and what he did or lie. Evans wasn't in a position to reveal what he did or where he went, so he would be left with the choice of lying. If that didn't convince them, he would have no choice but to use violence.
After all, the fact that he is a secret agent of the Emperor to keep an eye on the Crown Prince must remain a secret no matter what.
'After what His Royal Highness has done, I doubt he will remain a candidate to inherit the Throne. The worst thing that can happen would be the Crown Prince's death. But I doubt His Majesty would do that.' No matter what he did, the Emperor still should have some soft spots for his own biological son.
