Gods for as long as mankind exist the term itself was referred to as a being that was beyond our understanding, a perfect example of the very concept of what a God is could be something as simple as fire.
When humanity first discovered fire, it awed them, entice them, and made them wonder about it to such a degree that the only explanation for the earlier variation of humans can come up with in their frail and tiny minds was God.
Something so miraculous and amazing they began to utilize it in various ways, such as, it keeps them warm when they are cold, it makes raw food more delicious if left to cook under it, it boils water, it provides light to see in the dark.
Because of this multi usefulness, primitive people began to see something as simple as fire as a God, but what happen when they discovered that their so-called God, is not all that cheerful and benevolent, instead it is a carnage that can cause mass destruction in a matter of seconds.
What happens when their so-called God can actually hurt others and the environment, what happens when the so-called God they have worshiped for so long takes away everything from them in a blink of an eye as it can burn the surrounding, change the environment, destroy the atmospheres, pollutes the air, and cause immense pain and suffering.
Will, they still look at this destructive force of nature as God?
The answer is No, they will see this as a demon, a devil, a bright evil that causes nothing but pain and suffering to others and the environment around them.
But at the same time, the answer could also be Yes, if anything they would go as far as to call this divine judgment, God was punishing them, God was angry, God was warning them.
This is the perfect example of what God is in today's society, something as simple as a fire, beautiful, and amazing, but yet so dangerous and unpredictable.
This is what God is, this is the true face of God, a force of nature that cannot be understood.
Because these so call Gods are nothing but a menace to society as a whole, they are the true demons, they are the very embodiment of evil.
Because the Gods, that humanity has worshiped for so long and treated as their absolute saviors, turn out to be their absolute downfalls.
Nothing, and when I say nothing I mean absolutely nothing can prepare us for the day when the trumpet of end blows, and the God of the heavens descends upon us, while the gate of hell opens up.
Armageddon began on that fateful day January first, 2012 sixty years ago, the irony of it though it wasn't the demons that kill us, no it was the Angels, that was sent by the Gods to kill us off, they burn our city, torture our brethren, and it got even worse and even more horrifying when we found out that our weapons of mass destruction did little no damage at all.
Bullets just tickle them, rockets feel like a mere slap to the face, and our most destructive weapon a nuke just gives them a tan.
The only way to damage them was by doing it physically without the aid of technology, it was as if all divine is protected by a mysterious divine law.
Or through the use of magic, but in a world that is so dependent on technology and science, the very existence of this weird thing called mana or magic in a whole just seems foreign and impossible to utilize simply because we don't understand it.
In the end, humanity soon falls deep into despair, but just when our despair peaks, the observers who stay on the sideline watching us fight a futile battle, came to our aid, the Demons and the Devil became the embodiment of hope, I know the irony.
With aid of the Demons who help us kill the angels who are blessed with immense regeneration capacity but are few in numbers but stronger than demons, and the demons who are weaker than the angels, but are of vast amount, manage to make the angel fall back, although at the cost of a great amount of their kind, all to save humanity from the very thing they worship.
God, the divine, the true evil of humanity, that days humanity had a grim reminder, of how cruel reality can be and how unfair the world is.
But just as there are Gods and Devils, there exist despair and hope, and on the verge of despair they came, the grand seven.
Our as the demons call them, the seven great Devil kings, who represent a carnal sin, of Pride, Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, Envy, and Sloth.
And they offered humanity a way out of this despair, a deal too good to turn down, and that is the gift to utilize summoning magic, at the cost of simply remaining human, but to do it with gusto and appreciation instead of holding our desire back much less question it, what does that mean, you must be wondering.
Well, unlike angels who eat humans' flesh to empower themselves, demons feed purely off emotions that represent the human carnal sins, the richer the emotion the more powerful a demon can get.
And with humanity's despair reaching its peaks, due to the arrival of the angels, we became something like livestock regardless in the end, but at the same time we regain something much more and that is the ability to summon fort, legends our abnormalities of the past that are capable of using magic and dark arts along with every other thing that is magic related.
And all we have to do is embrace our sins, in the end, the demons and humanity form a pact of peace and understanding and became a joint nation.
Humans began to live with demons, and the demons slowly began to live with us, as both races share their culture and belief eventually even procreating with each other, making a new race called the Demi-humans.
Which are a type of superhumans that are a lot stronger than normal humans and are capable of doing supernatural things, but even so angels are naturally powerful, and even demi-humans can't beat the weakest of them as it will take a party of five to take one angel down, and we are not even talking about the Gods.
So, in the end, being a summoner is a must to be of any use on the battlefield, while fighting an angel or a God, because to fight them without any form of power, would be nothing but plain suicide, and a one-sided massacre.
But in the coming years since Angel's attack, military schools were created to train and teach the younger generations how to kill angels and utilize their power and connection with their summon legends, that they summon fort, to defeat the angels.
This is the story of how the angels come and destroy the world and humanity's desperate struggle for survival, but even so, this story only has one main character, a special existence by default, but becomes even more special in his hopelessness.
This is a story about a boy who hates the Gods far beyond what anyone can imagine, a boy too angry to die, a boy who has no regard for his own life, a boy who lost everything, and also a boy who became a legend, a hero, and a devil at the price of even more despair along his journey to wipe the gods from existence.
He will stop at nothing to see their end, although there was one problem, out of all the humans that exist he is the only one unable to even use demonic energy, an energy that is basically mana, and energy necessary for summoning.
But despite his flaws, he trained rigorously, both in mind and body, even putting himself into immense pain by volunteering for self-torture, but even that was not enough, but even this would not drive him to despair, despite all the bullying, slandering, and constant nightmare he must face.
His hard work paid off in the end because due to a simple abnormality he possesses despite being less than normal, he got the chance to enroll in one of the most prestigious Military academies.
The Morningstar Academy is a school known for birthing warriors that have slain hundreds of angels, this is the story of a boy that is cursed with immense anger and a girl who loves violence above all else, now watch them as they work together killing angels with nothing but fire, so with that said let burn, shall we?
