Akamu's words echoed through the Area, making everyone remember the past that they longed to bury.
"Enough of this Akamu. Go home"
Albert scolded Akamu, turning back to sign the documents.
"Go where Grandpa. You're signing my future away"
A tearful Akamu stood there, trying to advice his Grandpa. A man who once the Village looked up for advice.
"I'm doing this for your Future Akamu. We need money for you to follow your dreams.
You need money to Dream"
Albert said, trying to convince Akamu and himself to make what he was doing feel right.
"He's right Kid. Let the grown ups make decisions. Go home and play with your toys"
The Officers tried sending Akamu away, wanting the deal to be finalized without any hindrance.
"No.
NO
NO!!!!
YOU LEAVE!!!"
Akamu turned his attention to the Officials from The Food Samaritan.
"The day you stepped into our Village, all these misfortune fell on our lands.
This Village will be better without you constantly interfering!!!"
"AKAMU!!!"
Albert said in a Stern voice.
"Respect your Elders and Superiors. They've come here even after the opposition and bad name we gave them.
That alone shows their big heart to help"
Albert couldn't believe what he was saying. His mind slowly getting steered towards the Corporation like the Villagers. This wasn't him speaking either. It was a Grandfather trying to give his Grandson a good life.
"So did Freeza and the Saiyans
Look what happened to those Planets"
Akamu gave a Dragonball reference for his Grandpa to understand. Now wanting the Officials to understand what he said.
"Frieza..?"
Albert began thinking back at why he said that, slowly turning the pages of Dragonball History to find what was the meaning.
Frieza was an Evil Dictator who would enslave planets all over the Universe.
Goku's ancestor's were part of that Army, enslaving planets and selling them for a good price.
Albert knew Akamu always referred to himself as Goku, that indirectly translating to the Village and the people being the Saiyans.
Selling off their part of the Planet to a Dictator with nothing but exploitation in mind.
"I... I understand. But for now. We should make this sacrifice Akamu.
For your future.
Go make ur future somewhere else"
Alberts words flashed the destruction of the Saiyans homeworld before Akamu's eyes.
Frieza destroying their world along with the whole Saiyan race.
Just like The Food Samaritan destroying the Whispering Heights and it's beautiful culture.
There would be no trace of the Village anymore if the deal happened.
Akamu and the other kids of his Generation would be foreigners in an unknown land trying to survive without an identity of their own.
Akamu couldn't imagine a life without Keahi or Alice. Both integral part of his Identity, Fight and Drive to become the Strongest Man in the World.
And Whispering Heights was the place he began his dream.
He didn't want any other place having the pleasure of calling him one of theirs.
"No Grandpa. This is where my future is. I want this Village to be my Identity.
I don't want any other City or Village being called my Home when I make it big.
That'll be an Insult to Keahi and Alice"
**The Officials had heard enough at this point, asking the guards to carry Akamu off the Fields forcefully.
Albert tried stopping them before getting pushed back, the Officials showing their true colors**
"Bunch of Nobodies talking about a permanent Home!!!
This Land isn't yours. It used to be Free until you settled down and the Government recognising it.
That's why we have to stand around and take what you do to get these Lands"
*The Official Spit on the ground, continuing his tirade of Disrespect*
"YOU ALL ARE LIKE A BUNCH OF LOST LOCUSTS.
EXPLORING AND EXPLOITING ONE AREA TO ANOTHER
THIS VILLAGE WAS JUST ONE OF IT!!
NOW SHUT UP AND SIGN UP!!!"
The Official panted, catching his breath after a Furious speech.
The Villagers were shell shocked, seeing how the Officials truly see them like.
Albert was the first one to raise his voice against them.
"HOW DARE YOU TALK LIKE THAT!!!"
He grabbed an Official's collar before getting shoved down by a Guard.
He began kicking him, beating him up for Disrespecting an Official.
Akamu bit the Guard's hand. The one who carried him. He rushed to his Grandpa's Aid.
He put himself between the Guards and his Grandpa, trying to get them to stop.
But he was kicked down along with his Grandpa.
The Villagers looked in horror and shock, seeing how Brutal and low the Officials could get.
The Began taking a Step back in fear.
"MOVE FORWARD!!!!"
A Familiar Voice was heard from the back of the Crowd
"The Only Way for us after this is Forward!!!!"
*A Figure crossed through the Crowd, running towards the Guards and tackling him down*
"ARE WE GOING TO LET A STRANGER BEAT US UP AND TAKE OUR LANDS AGAIN !!!???"
*The Man beat up the Guards, rescuing Akamu and Albert before revealing himself to the Crowd*
It was LEE
"All these Years, we were Teaming up with the Enemy and working for his Goal.
Not anymore.
IT'S TIME WE STAND UP FOR OURSELVES AND THE VILLAGE.
THE ENEMY IS IN FRONT OF YOU!!!"
Lee began rallying the Villagers.
"YES.
WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS AN HANDSHAKE WAS REALLY A WAY OF TIEING UP OUR HANDS
AND A AGREEMENT TO SELL WAS US SURRENDERING OUR FREEDOM TO THEM!!"
Sharon joined Lee, holding out a File in her hand.
"WE HAVE THE PROOF WE NEED RIGHT HERE"
**The Officials took a step back seeing that File.
It was like she had uncovered one of their most protected secrets**
"Let's not fall for the same trick again. This is our Homeland.
And we know how to take care of it better than them!!"
Lee roared with Pride.
"And what makes you think like that.
What do you possibly have to hold onto this land anymore"
The Officials asked Lee, using the Barren lands as an excuse to divide the crowd for their favor.
But Lee wasn't going to let it happen. Having the perfect counter.
"Because My Kid wants his future to be in this Village.
So be it.
And as a Father, it's my duty to do what my Kid wants.
BECAUSE I'M HIS SUPERHERO"
Akamu's eyes lit up in joy hearing those words, hugging his Father.
Lee hugged Akamu back, addressing the Villagers and their kids.
"Look. We may have had our differences in the past.
But I'll explain everything in detail after this is over.
It's time for us to unite and protect the Next Generations future"
Sharon joined in as well
"And to every Kid, his Father and Mother is their Superhero.
It's time to become one.
Their Future is at Stake here.
Fight for them and show Heroes don't only exist in Comics and Fairy Tales"
The Villagers looked at each other, their kids looking upto them.
They were very much confused at Albert's change of heart to sell his land. Which they thought would never happen.
And now Lee, who opposed his own father Albert to force him to sell the land, was now fighting to protect it.
They looked at their Kids to decide what they should do.
*The Kids looked upto their parents, their eyes glistening with hope and tears.
They were afraid seeing Albert and Akamu get beaten up, fearing them and their parents would be too.
The little ones hugged their mom and dad, while ones at Akamu's age wanted them to safeguard their future.
They wanted to have something to identify themselves in this World.
Even if it was a Barren piece of Land.
They didn't want to become Nomads again.
And this was enough reason for their parents to take a Stand.
They joined Lee and Sharon, uniting against the Guards brought by The Food Samaritan.
Chaos ensued soon after, with the Villagers using stones and sticks against a well trained Group of Guards.
But somehow the Villagers held those Guards back, using their Ingenuity.
They began throwing rocks at the lower half of the Body, aiming for the knees and other regions.
Others used the Terrain to their advantage, hiding and throwing rocks from high places to get through the Guards formation.
The people from Mallow Village also arrived, courtesy of Lee and Sharon's pleas for help.
Both Villages joined forces against The Food Samaritan.
The Whispering Heights fighting for the future while Mallow Village was fighting for it's present.
They were too in danger of being taken over if Whispering Heights village fell into the hands of Food Samaritan.
They would use it as an advantage against them to force to sign.
The Villagers managed to push back the Guards offensive, with the Guards instructed not to fight back as the Officials recorded the event, leaving soon after to initiate legal action.
The Guards too were sent packing.
It was a Victory for the Village, but the costs to be paid for it was about to follow.
