As soon as Emily said that, I heard the sound of branches snapping.
"Damn it! There's more than one of them," Susan's wolf shouted at us.
"We should spread out. We'll be too big of a target if we stick together. We'll be easily exposed." Although I didn't like Edmund, his wolf was right.
As we decided to split up, Sammy sent another message through the mind-link.
"The intruders are werewolves, and their identity is uncertain. They are likely exiles. Be careful."
"Exiles? Damn it! Those guys are like hyenas! They won't leave until they get something good," Susan's wolf roared.
"Calm down. Since we've already confirmed it's a werewolf, there's no need to panic. We're werewolves too. Like how they know our weaknesses, we know theirs as well," I comforted them. It was a wonderful feeling.
Susan, Edward's wolf, and I hid in the bushes. We moved forward carefully and slowly to avoid exposing our position.
