"A good friend has to be like you." Satisfied because his plan worked, Othniel put his arm around Eldrick's shoulder. He hoped that Eldrick and Ozora's relationship would be better after clearing up the misunderstanding.
"You went home with Eldrick. You must be tired and I won't let you take public transportation to go home." Geona spoke to Ozora. She knew that working at her place would be exhausting because she was dealing with children. Yes, when Ozora was looking for a job, Geona actually offered her an important position in her day care.
Of course Ozora did not refuse his sister's offer. She didn't care about the babbling of the man named Eldrick. All she knew, she was tired and wanted to get home soon.
They didn't talk the whole way. Ozora didn't even notice Eldrick's gloomy face. Her eyes were busy enjoying the road from behind the car window. El had never encountered a woman who ignored him but he chose not to care.
"Where is your home address?" El asked amid the silence that ensued. He had to ask so that his car didn't continue moving aimlessly.
"Have you ever taken my sister home?"
"Take Geona home? I can be beheaded by her husband. His wife was like the most expensive diamond limited edition. No one can come close to her."
"Did Othniel really love Geona?" Ozora became interested in talking to El. She turned her body and saw the handsome man's face.
"I don't know. Niel never said anything. But he has changed a lot after marrying your sister."
"It's normal. My sister is beautiful and she has a good heart."
"Yes. Geona is beautiful. She's very different from you. Maybe if I met with Geona first. I will definitely take your sister as a wife." Eldrick didn't realize that his words really hurt the woman sitting next to him. Since childhood, Ozora has been used to the word illegitimate, ugly, unlucky child, but her heart was hurt every time someone compared her to others.
"What's wrong with me? Have I ever bothered you? Have I ever begged you? Have I ever harmed you? If it's just because you're driving me home that makes you angry like this, I'd better get off here." Ozora's chest suddenly felt full. She felt it was difficult for her to control her anger.
"Stop!" Ozora screamed because Eldrick's car didn't stop. El, who heard Ozora's scream, gasped. He looked for a quiet street and pulled over there. When Ozora wanted to open the door, the man's hand held her hand.
"What is it?" Ozora asked without seeing Eldrick's face. She only focused on looking at her wrist that was gripped by Eldrick.
"Sorry," Eldrick said. One of his weaknesses beside his picky and perfectionist attitude was that he couldn't see women cry in front of him.
Ozora raised her head and looked at El's face with a gaze filled with clear liquid. "I know what kind of man you are. You insult people just by appearance. I don't know the reason why you hate me so much but I don't care about that. No need to apologize because you are rich. You shouldn't apologize to a lowly woman like me." While holding the anger in her chest, Ozora conveyed a heart-wrenching pain.
"Sorry." Again El apologized without letting go of Ozora's hand.
"Why are you apologizing? You should think before hurting other people's hearts. You never felt what I went through. You shouldn't insult me like that." It felt like Ozora wanted to scream and spill everything. Tears and tightness in her heart remained faithful to accompany her even though she had rubbed it repeatedly.
Eldrick took off his seatbelt and immediately brought his body closer to Ozora. His hands pulled Ozora's body and without permission he hugged. "Forgive me. You can yell at me or hit me."
Ozora's mouth couldn't bear to curse but her hand kept hitting Eldrick's back. The man didn't mind that either. He's gone too far. Just because Eldrick's past experiences, he has hurted Ozora's feelings. Othniel and Nicko had repeatedly explained that it wasn't Ozora who had smeared the glue on his chair.
"Why does everyone hate me? Why did I have to be born if only to be humiliated and hurt. I don't want to live like this either." That's Ozora. Every time she was sad, she would feel sorry for herself like that. The woman thought that her birth was a mistake.
Slowly Ozora's tears stopped. Her breathing began to regular and returned to normal. After that Eldrick let go of his arm. "I apologize. I shouldn't have said that. If you say everyone hates you, How about your family? They really love you. From today on I will be your friend and always be there for you. Will you forgive me?"
"I don't know. Your words hurt me so much."
"Okay. I will wait until you forgive me. I will do anything to get an apology from you. Now tell me your address. I'll take you there."
Eldrick continued his journey after Ozora mentioned the address. Too tired to cry and hold tight anger in her chest, the woman fell asleep in Eldrick's car.
Seeing a car coming, the security guard immediately opened the gate because he saw Ozora was inside. "You must have gone through so much trouble that you cried like that." Eldrick opened his seatbelt and the seatbelt that held Ozora's body. Then he got out of the car. Eldrick intended to carry Ozora's body but the woman woke up.
"What do you want?" Ozora asked in surprise. She kept her body away, afraid that another man would harm her again.
"You fell asleep. I just wanted to take you in."
"No need! I can walk alone. Don't mess with sleeping women. I'm an adult and can fight. I can even report you to the police." Ozora threatened then got out of the car. She left Eldrick without thanking him.
"What happened to her? Why did she turn fierce like that? What am I going to do?" Eldrick got back into the car but Ozora's cries while in the car kept dancing in his mind. He was really too bad.
