On hearing the Dormitory Leader's voice, Zhang Lei glanced at him, a complex expression flicking across his face. Although the leader was no New Human, he was every bit as capable as Zhang Lei himself. It was evident that the man was a seasoned veteran, else he wouldn't have been in charge of this dormitory.
The leader's skills couldn't have been honed by soldiers merely messing about in training - they were the product of real combat. Like Zhang Lei, who was a soldier before the Apocalypse, he was a Drug Enforcement Officer, and so his skills were naturally refined.
After sizing the Dormitory Leader up, Zhang Lei remained silent for a while before finally speaking, but he didn't answer the leader's question directly.
"You are...?"
"What are you trying to say?" the Dormitory Leader frowned, looking somewhat puzzled.
