Chapter 5 - FIRST DATE

Ethan was very surprised after hearing Lidya's words‚ Ethan turned his body and stared at Lidya as if he couldn't believe what he heard earlier.

Not only Ethan was surprised‚ Clara‚ Yuni and Billy were also shocked. The three of them did not think that Lidya's invitation to a cleaning service like Ethan to date‚ who was a stockbroker with a bright future‚ could be accepted by Lidya.

Because of that‚ Clara‚ Yuni and Billy were still waiting for Lidya's next response‚ they thought‚ Lidya was just playing with her words just now and wanted to accept Ethan's date.

They thought Lidya would laugh at Ethan but instead‚ Lidya reached into her bag and took her gold business card which Lidya usually only gave to her important clients‚ then‚ Lidya gave the gold business card to Ethan.

"That's my business card. You don't know my WA number‚ do you? Well‚ there's my WA number‚ complete with my home address. Tomorrow night‚ I'll be waiting for you at seven o'clock. Don't be late. I don't like people late. Okay‚ I'll go first‚ my mom is waiting for me‚" Lidya said while waving at Ethan and immediately left Ethan without saying goodbye to Clara‚ Yuni and Billy who were still dumbfounded in their respective places.

Ethan looked at the gold business card in his hand. Lidya Watson's name was written on it. "A good name‚ as beautiful as the person‚" Ethan thought.

Ethan was very happy to receive this business card and also because Lidya welcomed his date very well‚ because of that‚ he didn't care about Clara‚ Yuni and Billy anymore‚ he immediately turned his body and walked away from the three of them.

"How could‚ Sis Lidya‚ accept a date from a cleaning service?" Clara said behind Ethan.

"Yeah. It's like there aren't any other boys. Moreover‚ tomorrow it's Sunday night‚ it should be tomorrow night time with girlfriend‚" Yuni said.

"Lidya is being cursed again‚" Billy said.

The three people's comments were deliberately spoken as loud as possible so that Ethan could hear them‚ but Ethan didn't care about the opinion of the three of them because all Ethan cared about was Lidya's opinion.

Lidya has expressed her opinion Loud and Clear‚ when Lidya accepted Ethan's date and when Lidya gave her business card into Ethan's hand‚ and when Lidya reminded Ethan not to be late when he picked her up later.

Even when Ethan heard Yuni's words earlier that tomorrow night was Sunday night‚ Ethan was even more shocked‚ because Lidya wanted to go out with him on Sunday night‚ night which should be spent with someone very special.

"Does Lidya think I'm special?" Ethan thought as he continued to walk.

While smiling‚ Ethan approached Lukman who saw the scene from a distance. Lukman‚ who seemed to know what was going on‚ immediately raised his hand to give Ethan a high five.

"You're great‚ bro. A girl as beautiful as Lidya can be accepted as your date. Great bro. Great!" Lukman said after a high five with Ethan.

"Just pray‚ so that tomorrow goes smoothly."

"Relax‚ Ethan. I'll be praying for you."

Next day. At seven o'clock precisely‚ the tidy Ethan had entered a house in an elite area‚ according to the address on the gold business card that Lidya had given him.

Ethan had arrived at Lidya's house with his shabby motorbike. Lidya's house was quite large and nice and was a three-story house that was neatly arranged and included in the ranks of luxury homes.

Ethan got off his motorbike and started approaching the gate of house number 112‚ according to the house number recorded on the gold business card that Lidya gave him.

The gate of this house was quite high‚ fortunately there was a hole was big enough for Ethan to peek through.

While Ethan was still peeking inside‚ a gentleman in his late thirties with a stern face and a security uniform suddenly appeared behind the fence.

"Who are you looking for?" the security man asked.

"Good evening‚ sir. I'm looking for Lidya‚ Sir‚" Ethan answered.

"What's your name?"

"Ethan‚ sir."

"Okay‚ you've been waiting‚" the security man said while opening the gate.

A moment later‚ the security man stared at the battered motorbike behind Ethan‚ then he said‚ "Just leave the motorbike outside. Don't bring it in‚ it can interfere with the view‚ because inside there‚ it's full of luxury vehicles."

Ethan immediately frowned upon hearing the security man's words‚ however‚ he decided not to heed this man's words and stepped inside because he was afraid that Lidya would consider he was late.

"Hey‚ don't think about it anymore‚ the motorbike is so old‚ it's hard to sell‚ it won't sell. So‚ motorbike thieves must be lazy to take the old motorbike‚" the security continued.

"Yes‚ sir‚ it's okay to just leave it outside." Ethan smiled kindly.

Security‚ let Ethan into the house alone. He simply pointed at a door and motioned for Ethan to knock on it.

Ethan entered the courtyard of the luxurious house owned by Lydia.

Inside‚ Ethan was treated to a view of some of the luxury cars parked beside this mansion.

In addition to cars, there was also a Harley Davidson luxury motorbike parked there.

Ethan approached the door that the security guard meant and tapped lightly.

It didn't take long for the door to open and a beautiful face with her hair tied back in a neat dress was standing there and immediately smiled at Ethan.

"Good evening. I'm not late am I?" Ethan asked‚ because he's so scared that he'll be considered a person late.

"You're on time because I counted from the time your voice was heard at my doorstep. That's good too‚" Lidya commented as soon as she saw Ethan's face.

"It's okay. Let's go then‚" Lidya said‚ grabbing her bag which was located on the living room sofa near the door.

"Didn't say goodbye to your parents?"

"They haven't come home yet. There's an event going on‚" he answered Lydia.

"Oh."

"Oh yeah‚ you ride a motorbike‚ don't you?" Lidya asked when she saw Ethan's tattered motorbike in front of her house.

The gate of this house had not been closed by security‚ so Ethan's tattered motorbike was displayed in front of Lidya's house.

"Yeah. Erm … it's okay right?"

"It's okay. It's just cold. So‚ I'll take my jacket first‚ okay?"

"Yeah‚"  Ethan said‚ nodding his head.

After that‚ Lidya went back into the house.

Ethan came out and waited on his motorbike. A few moments later‚ Lidya came out of her house and was wearing a black leather jacket which added to her beauty.

With her hair tied back as this‚ Lidya looked like a young Angelina Jolie when she played a role in the film Tomb Raider. Lidya's beauty made Ethan amazed.
