Chapter 19 - The Prequel to The Hero of Justice #3

A/N: A mini prequel before the cannon of my fic started just for you all to get a deeper depth to my character something I realized that I haven't really shown all that much because I've sort of just been rushing through things.

William POV

These past few months have been strange to say the least people have been getting kidnapped left right and I've been able to find them with no problems but for whatever weird reason the kidnapper keeps leaving a trail behind making it easier for me to track down where the kidnapper keeps placing his or her's victims.

Each time I found a victim the was no kidnapper in sight whenever I questioned one of the victims all they could tell me was that the person that took them wore a black suit before they were knocked out by chloroform.

This obviously didn't narrow it down as to who it could be for all I know it might be a businessman or even a teacher.

I rubbed my eyes tiredly placing down my research notes for my recent time alter spell that I've developed the spell wasn't one to increase my speed or perception like how square and double accel does.

Rather an in between cool down spell that I could use to let my body recover from the effects of accel without my heart skipping beats or potentially even stopping in the middle of a fight.

"Trigger on...Time Alter: Double Accel!" I chanted feeling the pressure of the bounded fields around my chest, lungs, and the burning sensation of my blooding going faster gritting my teeth I chant once more "Time Alter: 10 Second Release."

Instead of letting the bounded fields release themselves all at once I let them go slowly waiting for a solid of ten seconds, I closed my eyes expecting the time corrections made by Gaia to start effecting my heart like how it always does yet surprisingly it didn't I slowly grinned looks like it was a success.

Seeing as how my work had paid off, I decided to take the rest of the night off and left the compartment room that I secretly created a few weeks back by expanding the inside of the shed with alteration.

On the outside the shed looked exactly the same as it always had been but on the inside the space was big by big, I mean like someone just put two bedrooms together kind of big.

Altering the place was a big pain in the ass much less the alteration and modifying of the interiors of the walls in order to build my own hidden workshop so that I could hide the things that Shirou wasn't supposed to see like the suitcase of guns that dad had left me.

"William-senpai Shirou sent me down to tell you that dinner was ready," came the sudden voice of Sakura I nod my head "yeah I'll be down in the living room in a couple of minutes Sakuta just got to do some last minute cleaning!" I shout out from the other side of the shed hurryingly sliding the shelf wall to cover the entrance to my workspace.

I swiped the non-existent sweat away from my forehead with relief "that was a close one if she actually came in, I don't know how I would explain what I was doing," I said out loud taking one last look around to see if anything was out of place with a satisfied nod, I exited the shed.

-Yashiro POV Switch-

Looking at the digital map on my computer I could only gap seeing the patterns before me. You see in order to figure out this vigilante's identity I first needed to find where they operated hence, I started a random set of kidnapping marking each location down until I finally connected the spots where the vigilante frequently appeared most often.

The first location being Homurahara middle school the other being...the Emiya household this vigilante wasn't a man it was in fact a freaking twelve year old kid hahahaha I did not want to believe it, but the evidence was staring at me cold heartedly in the face.

There was only Shirou and William Emiya of the two I can only guess William simply because of the way he behaves himself at school secluded, calculative, and a very high intelligence compared to his brother.

Shirou Emiya on the other hand was a bit average in everything except archery and kendo not to mention his thin body structure. To simply put it there was no way he had the brains or brawns to pull off some of the things this vigilante has done hence leaving only one person William.

"Well even if he's just a kid what difference does it make? I'll still at least be able to break him...now I believe I have Taiga's phone number on here perhaps it's time I ask her out on that date I don't need to worry about Raiga all that much worse case scenario I fake my death and restart somewhere new hehehe," I said out loud to myself chuckling sinisterly within the dark seclusion of my apartment.

-William POV Switch Back-

For today's dinner at the Emiya household Shirou along with Sakura had cooked some miso soup, chicken yakisoba, some sushi, and of course an exclusive plate of omurice just for me.

"Itadakimasu!" Shirou, Sakura, Fuji-nee, and I shouted in synch before chowing down on the food of course like usual Fuji-nee speed devours her food so that she could get back home early in order to grade some papers when all of the sudden her phone started ringing which made us all pause.

"Who is it Fuji-nee?" Shirou asked with a raised brow Taiga eyes widen a bit "huh it's just Yashiro-san I wonder why he's calling me at this time of day," she said flipping her phone up to answer the call.

We really couldn't tell what the conversation was about seeing as it was just one sided but judging from the excited "Yes's," and the fast head nods that Fuji-nee was doing right now I would say it was going very well...maybe a bit too well I thought.

Fuji-nee finally hangs up the phone the smile still plastered on her face "do I dare ask as to why you're smiling so widely like that Fuji-nee?" I asked with a deadpan voice.

Of course, she ignores it doing a complete 360 spin "OMG I'VE GOT A DATE WITH YASHIRO FINALLY ALL THOSE YEARS OF FLIRTING HAVE PAID OFF,"

Sakura claps in congratulations "good for you Fujimura-sensei," she said with a small smile, Shirou merely questioned "what's a date?", and I could only mutter "geez talk about desperate," I promptly got a smack in the head for that.

"Shut up Willaim you don't understand how the adult life really works and just how difficult it is for a pretty girl like me to get a date with a decent kind of guy like Yashiro-san hehehe," she said in an admonishing tone before giggling in excitement.

I sighed looking down at my bowl of food "why do I have a bad feeling about this?" I questionably muttered to myself.

-end of the prequel to the hero of justice chapter three-
