"Hmm." Max frowned as the two Assassins remained silent while utilizing their Magic to press down on him.
Of course, their attempt was pathetic seeing as they were barely Intermediate rank Magicians at the 4th circle.
The fact that they had no worries attacking someone way stronger than them though kept Max on edge.
"I need to end this quickly." As he thought this, Max made his move.
Exploding his aura to push both attackers back, he immediately rushed toward them and hit one with his staff while blocking an attack from the other.
He immediately followed up with another hit, effectively flooring the second attacker.
Before he could catch his breath though, Max quickly leaped back just in time to watch two small knives dig into his previous position.
They seemed normal at a glance, bearing resemblance to the Japanese kunai but wrapped around the handle was a talisman.
"Fuck." Max cursed as he covered himself in Ordena, alas, he was a tad bit slow.
