"You don't plan on letting up, huh." Ryuk grimaced as he evaded the breaths of the Basilisk once again.
He would have attempted transporting it away if not for the fact that the Basilisk could attack him while he remained immobile. He had already suffered once because of that.
"Time is running out. Show me something new or are you planning on jumping around like a monkey?" Link mocked as his basilisks attacked.
Ryuk was about to make a move when the Basilisks stopped moving due to a change in Link's expression.
"That bitch!... What is she planning?"
Ryuk frowned at Link's words as he wondered what happened.
A moment later and his question was answered as he noticed a change.
The life force that had been flowing out at a steady pace quickly picked up the pace as the thin lines shot out toward the forest area.

The situation had turned dire as the increase in life-force absorption would lead to the rapid deaths of many.
