Max landing anywhere meant that he could very much find himself in the void if his luck was bad enough.
"Damn it." Max cursed as he realized that the darkness had acted on purpose.
Unless something showed him the way, he was practically stuck in the Land of Snow.
"What to do?" He asked no-one in particular as he took a deep breath.
At this point, the darkness had realized he was still alive and thus attempted to attack him again.
Max trembled as the voices reached for him.
Just as he prepared for the worst, his clarity returned and with it, a pathway leading to the Living Forest.
From where he stood, he could already make out a plane of existence filled with green and everything living.
Trusting the will of the world embedded within the Land of Snow, Max didn't hesitate to use the pathway as he rushed into it, before he found himself in a river of stars heading toward the Living Forest.
