"Do you know what the Eye of Munin is?" Iolrath asked with a serious expression on his face.
"I have a rough idea," Max replied before adding. "Ryuk told me that it had something to do with the history of the Elves."
"I see." Iolrath nodded thoughtfully. "Let me explain things to you."
"Please, go ahead," Max said enthusiastically as he sat upright.
As it concerned his life, he took it quite seriously and even more so since it didn't sound like a joke.
The weakness he was currently experiencing was already a clear sign that he couldn't make use of the Eye of Munin as he wanted even though it was quite tempting.
With everything he had gotten, it was unfortunate but he had to accept the fact that in the Samsara, there was no free gift without consequences.
