Tor wasn't one to have goodwill for someone like Max.
Not only was he a human, but he was also a human that broke his prized weapon.
How could he feel anything good for him?
But to watch him die at the hands of corrupted creatures… Tor felt it would be an insult to his name.
How could the one that was strong enough to push him to the edge be killed so easily?
He couldn't live with that, thus he acted.
But now faced with Max, he felt disgusted and utter disdain.
Was this the one that defeated him?
Was this the one they called a Sage?
Tor felt the urge to rip him apart and because of that…, his anger flowed out in torrents.
Max was gripped by shock at the intense emotions flooding toward him.
At this point, it felt like he could tell what Tor was thinking just by the feeling he got.
Anger.
Pure, unrestrained anger.
It was like a fire that burnt not the physical aspect, but the spiritual and psychological.
Max instinctively gulped.
