Max was left flustered after being caught so easily.
It made him doubt his capabilities.
"…Or is he just that strong?" Max wondered if the newcomer was at a level comparable to his teacher.
But they didn't give off the same pressure.
Or was it because of the strange magic they were using?
"How long do you plan on staying there?" The newcomer remarked with a raised brow.
Max bit down on his lip, considering his options before letting out a sigh.
"I guess I don't have a choice."
Taking a deep breath, he let go of the branch he was holding and plummeted to the ground.
The newcomer followed his path and watched him drop with a soft landing.
Picking up Ella in a princess carry, Max slowly made his way out of the cluster of trees.
He revealed himself before the Elves.
"Hello." With a slightly awkward look, he addressed them but what he was met with was a more awkward silence.
