"You are here." A familiar-sounding voice was heard.
Garth glanced at the source to find the old man that killed Lucius seated in a lotus position with his back to him.
His hair fluttered in the wind as he floated above ground and the aura about him was both peaceful and sharp, ready to cut at a moment's notice.
"…" he found himself unable to say a word as he stared blankly at the old man.
His lips quivered but ultimately, he remained silent.
Then the man continued. "I've lived for several years but in all my life, I have never met anyone that wanted power to help another. The best was that he wanted power to protect his people."
The old man slowly turned until Garth saw his face.
His gaze was sharp and for a minute, Garth felt like his everything was bared open before the old man.
"But you are the first to have such a goal and it is not superficial. You have shown that you would do anything to gain the power needed to help this so-called benefactor. But then I ask you… why?"
