/1 week later/
In the imperial palace that housed the supreme power that had united Zion, a great meeting was about to take place.
The hall, which was large enough to fit over a thousand people, was adorned with the finest jewels, the pillars plated with gold.
The tables were made using the strongest cedars from the forest and the chairs were strong enough to carry any weight.
The utensils placed on the dinner table were crafted with silver and the meal served was enough to bring tears to the eyes of a common man.
But those weren't important.
What was most important was the presence of several nobles, Dukes, and Governors of the different states and cities of the Empire.
They were people that had sworn their allegiance to the Empire and on the surface, were keen on ensuring its growth and survival.
They were in an uproar as they argued amongst themselves, hurling insults and trying to one-up the other with harsh words.
