Link spoke disparagingly, clearly showing his dissatisfaction with Regard's actions.
"What did you expect me to do?... Refuse to sign the agreement and have us labeled as enemies of the Empire?" Regard asked in annoyance.
Link snorted. "At the very least, you should have given us room to grow, maybe if Clea was busy building a community, she wouldn't have been scouted by those bastards at the organization."
"Is that it?... Are you going to blame the agreement for that?... Forgive me for saying this but Clea made her choice!... At the end of the day, she died happy that she wouldn't cause anyone pain any longer. Isn't that enough?"
"What do you think?" Link questioned.
Both men were about to have a go when Max suddenly stepped up. "Enough!"
