"To what?" Regard cut Link off coldly. "To kill me like you tried to do to Aria back then?"
Link frowned as he remained silent.
Max on the other hand was stunned by the revelation.
"Is that why they broke up?" He turned to Ariadne for confirmation but only received silence as she refused to act, only looking on at Link.
Within her green eyes that reflected life, contempt toward Link was hardly hidden but beneath that, there seemed to be… regret?
Max couldn't be sure.
Just then, Regard's order came again. "Aria go!"
Glancing at Regard, they had eye contact for a few seconds before Ariadne nodded and after one last look at Link, moved toward the camp to rescue the girls.
Link watched Ariadne pass, unable to do anything as Korra couldn't move due to the space around them being constricted.
"You know I expected you to come." Regard said calmly.
Link snorted. "oh really?"
