Link's lip twitched as he asked. "So that leaves Maximilian and Laura. Did your source tell you their current location?"
"But of course. What kind of an employer would I be if I didn't provide basic information on your assignment?"
Link wanted to reply but ended up swallowing what he initially had in mind as he waited for the lady to give him the information he required.
Seeing as Link remained silent, the lady stopped teasing him. "The princess and the remaining survivors released a being similar to the Demon Lord." She paused, waiting to see if Link would react to her words
True to her expectations, Link's eyes constricted as he pursed his lips. "A being similar to the Demon Lord?"
"Mn, you should have a good impression of this since you fought alongside Regard against the Demon Lord."
Link sighed. "Was the being defeated?"
"Mn, easily dispatched by the Empire's Pillar. Of course, we still don't know what the being was after but it doesn't matter."
