"Watch out!" Nadia exclaimed as a Specter appeared from behind Cedric seeking to end his life.
Covering in flames, Cedric snorted as he tossed a fireball at the creature, destroying instantaneously.
His flames seemed to work well against the undead creatures.
"There's no need for me to show up yet. You should leave while Avatar is still active." Ifrit remarked through their bond.
Cedric nodded. "Noted."
Turning to Nadia, he gestured for her to follow him to which she agreed immediately.
The moment they stepped out, Cedric was forced to rethink his plan of regrouping with the others as several Specters roamed outside.
"Shit." Cursing inwardly, he prepared to clear them all at once.
As the Specters sensed his fighting spirit, they paused to weigh the situation before suddenly merging until they formed a single entity that stood over six feet tall with a scythe large enough to split open a boulder with ease.
