"I'm glad to see the two young masters again," Nadia said, kowtowing as she spoke.
Max scratched his head as he didn't seem to have much of an impression concerning the young lady. "Haha, sorry to say but I don't think I know you."
"She is… no, was one of my maids. It would be weird if you still remembered her." Cedric replied as he stared intently at Nadia.
Noticing his stare, Nadia avoided eye contact as her body language showed how uncomfortable she was with the current situation.
Sensing the tension, Max sort to intervene. "Is there something wrong?... You guys look like you need some time alone."
"Mn, if it's possible." Cedric casually replied.
"Alright. I'll be back." Taking off in another direction, Max hoped to get something to eat before it was too late, leaving Cedric and Nadia alone in the clearing.
A few seconds of awkward silence reigned between them as the winds blew past, rustling the trees.
Suddenly, Cedric broke the ice. "How come you are here?"
