The group ran like their lives depended on it… because it kind of did at this point.
All around them the tall walls moved sideways, changing directions haphazardly which caused the group headaches as it continually pushed them off course.
Of course, if that was all, the situation wouldn't be so dire.
Behind them, the tiles fell rapidly downward, revealing a dark abyss that seemed to absorb everything, including colors with their black and white appearance.
No one knew what was down there but it was clear that falling would be the end thus they pushed forward without fail.
This didn't happen naturally, but instead an honest mistake by Laura.
While walking through the paths, all it took was a single misstep as well as a sleight of hand to activate the well-hidden trap mechanism within the maze.
