"Ahhh!!!" A bloodcurdling scream echoed throughout the volcano.
At the center, Cedric was on his knees, screaming as his flesh melted from his body.
The heat was so unbearable he couldn't even breathe properly talk more of thinking straight.
Managing to put his head up, his current appearance looked quite hideous.
Part of his face had melted off to reveal the skill with his eyeball bulging out.
"It hurts… it hurts so bad… it hurts!!!" He exclaimed as he tried to jump into the lava.
His hand touched the surface only for him to retract it while screaming some more.
All that remained of it were bones now.
Finally, Cedric stopped struggling as he collapsed on his back, his body twitching occasionally to show he was still alive.
"Is this how I'm going to die?" Cedric questioned.
In that brief moment, his life flashed before his eyes.
Everything he had endured just to prove himself worthy.
