With danger averted, for the time being, Max was finally able to take a look at their surroundings to better learn more about them.
"This is crazy," he muttered under his breath.
What should be the sky was a blood red ocean and below the landmass, they were on, thick red clouds floated about.
Almost as though the world had flipped on itself.
The air possessed a slightly red coloration that made it uncomfortable to breathe in. Subconsciously, their bodies were filtering whatever it was that caused the air to be red.
Apart from that, the edges of the island were also colored red, resembling flesh with veins lined up around the periphery, throbbing with a fervor.
It was almost as though the rock were alive.
A few more discoveries included the fact that North was South and East was West.
This… Red World, was in complete disarray.
"Well, I'm sure we can all agree that our current location is not hospitable for us at all," Max remarked.
