A cry of pain and anguish permeated the great hall as Kaylan dropped to her knees, clawing at her chest in a bid to rip out the Philosopher Stone that lay within.
Her body trembled and it seemed as though it would collapse with a slight push.
At this point, Kaylan's suppressive aura was gone and with it, the darkness that held the juggernauts down.
Of course, even as they were freed, the juggernauts were not better off, after all, they were also homunculi. The Philosopher Stones within sort to destroy them.
Their bodies slowly fell apart. It was an anticlimactic end for creatures that could be seen as destroyers.
"What's happening?" Elena asked in confusion.

Suddenly there was a burst of red light as crystals shot out of the chests of the Juggernauts.
They glowed with effervescence and held so much life force, it nourished everyone present.
