Cedric stood beside her with a slightly less terrified visage. He didn't know how to respond to Laura's question.
Even though they had agreed to go ahead with Darwin's crazy plan, now standing in position, they couldn't help but feel hesitant.
It was understandable though, after all, their target was a terrifying beast with no sense of reasoning and overflowing bloodlust.
If not for assurance from Darwin and a little gift as well, they would never have dared to do something so dangerous.
Just like Max, they also had things they were fighting for. Cedric wasn't willing to die without figuring out his purpose and Laura couldn't bare to allow everything her father had worked for to be destroyed.
Thus, they took the risk.
