"Ceremony?" Elena asked incredulously. " What ceremony are you talking about?"
Richard chuckled. "The ceremony to revive my wife, of course." With a grin, he added. "It would seem placing that virus in the mind of that fool turned out to be useful."
Elena paused as though trying to recall something important before finally blurting out what was on her mind.
"What did you do to me?... Why did you bring us here."
Tanya, Conan, and her guards were taken aback by her sudden question.
"Don't you remember anything?" Tanya asked.
Elena shook her head. "I don't know if I remember."
She could tell she has done some things but the reason why and how she did them eluded her.
Richard suddenly spoke up. "Don't overthink it. This happens when mortals are in the presence of a god. Their senses are warped and their intuition dulls down, after all, how can you have your thoughts before a god?"
It was then that the truth dawned on everyone.
